Being a student already has its challenges, with deadlines to meet and lectures to attend. It's difficult enough to find time to work so you can afford to keep a roof over your head. But choosing between keeping your heating on versus having a hot meal should be the least of your worries!
That's why Middlesex University is addressing this issue by making sure you can get a free hot meal when coming to campus. Yes, you read that right, a FREE hot meal! From Monday 3rd October, free breakfasts and dinners twice a week from the hot food counter will be available in the Quad.
You can also find a number of other discounts and promotions via the Food on Campus UniHub page. It includes details about available sources of additional funding, ways we’re bringing down the costs of studying, and a heap of resources to help your money go further.
There are other ways Middlesex University can help you. You can find out by clicking here. Some of these include:
• Free printing for academic purposes, saving you an average of £100 per year
• Loan a laptop for free with access to a wide range of software via AppsAnywhere and Splashtop
• Borrow books from the library instead of purchasing them. The library has a copy of every core book you need on your module
• Download the Too Good To Go app on your phone for discounts on food & drink on campus
• Bring your own food on campus and heat them up in CG42 where microwaves and hot water dispensers are free to use
• Loan equipment from the Kit Hub to save over £3,000 a year, from cameras to SD cards, microphones, and more
• If you're looking for paid work, Unitemps offers MDX students flexible, part-time jobs on-campus, and MDXworks can help with your application for any job role
These are just some of the things you can take advantage of as a Middlesex University student. Click here to see what else you can save on.
