WHAT ARE ELECTIONS?

Middlesex Students' Union (MDXSU) is a democracy, which is great! But what does it actually mean?

Twice a year, Middlesex students elect representatives to take action on the issues that affect their student experience at Middlesex.

Not satisfied with your course? Do you want better wellbeing support? Could academic support be better? There's a representative for that, and it might be you! Or make sure you vote to choose the student you trust to tackle these issues.

WHY SHOULD I CARE?

MDXSU's Elections are your chance to make the changes you want to see at Middlesex University and make a real impact on students lives.

If there are things about being a student you think could improve - whether that's better academic support, improved wellbeing support, better career prospects, or anything else, make sure your voice is heard and use your vote! Or nominate yourself for one of the paid full-time or volutary part-time leadership position.

WHAT ROLES CAN I RUN FOR?

Elections for Student Officers and Student Trustees are not closed, and you can find out about the newly elected Student Leaders here.

For Student Voice Leaders, these nominations open in September 2024 and are open all year round. Students can nominate themselves for a range of roles by checking out the information on the relevant pages using the buttons below, checking out our election rules here, or emailing studentvoice@mdx.ac.uk for any other questions.
