Middlesex Students' Union is a student-led, student-focused organisation, here to represent and support Middlesex students, so we love to hear your views! All of our members are invited to the AGM to have their say - if you’re a registered Middlesex University student, you’re a member of MDXSU.
Holding your representatives to account.
Each of the elected student officers will be giving a short speech and answering questions on what they have been working on this year, so you’ll be able to check that they’ve been sticking to their objectives and keeping to the promises they made when you elected them.
Making ideas become reality.
Got a great idea for improving Middlesex? All students will be able to present an idea for change, which must be submitted to studentvoice@mdx.ac.uk by Monday 13th April. These ideas will be voted on by Student Voice Leaders at the AGM, and if passed will become policy, which MDXSU is responsible for making happen. On the 14th and 15th April, individual school meetings will be taking place on campus where you can discuss issues specific to your course or school – find out more at www.mdxsu.com/events.
Money matters.
The Board of Trustees will submit a statement of accounts and a financial report, so you will be able to see exactly what has been happening at your Students’ Union since July 2014.
Let us know you’re coming to the AGM by registering here, or drop in on the day. Student Voice Leaders that have registered will receive a certificate of recognition for their hard work this year, so don’t forget to register your attendance first!
Access is about providing people with equal opportunity to participate fully in whatever is being offered. Please email studentvoice@mdx.ac.uk if there is anything you might need to fully take part in this conference, or if you have any other questions regarding the AGM.
