Your votes have been counted, and we can now announce the results of the MDXSU Elections 2022.
1829 Middlesex University students voted between Monday 14th and Thursday 18th February, casting 6561 ballots across a total of seven elections.
These elections included the Full-Time President and 4 Vice President roles, as well as two part-time Student Trustee positions. An incredible 88 students nominated themselves across these roles.
Our Student Group Elections took place at the same time, with students voting for the next leaders of our Societies, Liberation Groups, and Student Media platforms. 142 candidates ran to become Student Group Leaders across 54 groups, and a total of 392 Student Group members voted, casting a whopping 2531 ballots.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote and help shape the direction of the Students' Union and our priorities for the next year. Congratulations to our incredible candidates who have all achieved so much over the past week. For the first time since 2019, our elections have not been held exclusively online, and as such our candidates have had to invent new ways of engaging with students both on campus and online - simultaneously - and you have inspired voters with your ideas on how to improve life for Middlesex Students. Whether you have been elected or not, you should be incredibly proud of your work.
Read on for the results!
The below students will commence their roles in July 2022.
