MDXSU Vice President Orla Hillary has been elected Chair of the National Student Fundraising Association.

Orla, our Vice President Health & Education and Science & Technology, was voted into the role by other Students' Union representatives at the RAG (Raise & Give) student fundraising conference on Wednesday 24th August.

The National Student Fundraising Association, or NaSFA, is an independent, membership led organisation, representing all student fundraisers in the UK. NaSFA represents higher and further education, and isn't just for 'RAGs', or Raise & Give Societies, but also for individual fundraisers and other types of fundraising group.

Orla will now lead a committee of six elected representatives who oversee the activities of NaSFA - developing student fundraising activities, ensuring inclusivity within fundraising groups and showcasing the impact and inspirational work of student fundraisers.

Orla is Middlesex Students' Union's second Vice President to sit on the national committee, following Sophie McKay, our Vice President Health & Education and Science & Technology 2013-2015.
