What would improve your time at Middlesex?
With our new online 'Ideas for Change' tool, any student can suggest a change they would like to see at Middlesex, and we'll help to make it happen.
All you need to do is submit your idea online via the 'Ideas for Change' and then encourage other students to vote for it. If it's successful, MDXSU will work on making your idea a reality! So how does it work?
Submit your idea. It's easy to do - just name it, explain it and upload a photo. We'll then approve it and your idea will go live on our website for three weeks.
Once your idea is online your fellow Middlesex students will have the chance to vote on it, so make sure you share it! When it receives 20 votes in favour we'll help you to publicise your idea further by promoting it on the Middlesex Students' Union Facebook page, helping you to get your idea out to an even wider audience.
If your idea receives 30 likes within the three week deadline we'll take it to the next level! If it's something we can introduce oursleves, we'll get working on it straight away. Alternatively, if it affects the wider student population, or cannot be fixed by the Students' Union alone...
If your idea is approved by either of these, it's up to MDXSU to help make it happen.
As well as keeping the student behind the idea informed on it's progress, we'll also update its status with the Ideas for Change page.
So what would you change? Whether your idea is related to your studies, your housing, your SU or food on campus, we want to hear it. At the time of writing, current suggestions included more vegetarian and vegan options on campus, removing hire fees for graduation gowns, and keeping Wednesday afternoons free from lectures and classes.
Using the Ideas for Change online tool is an easy way of making your views heard and feeding into your Students' Union's plans and democratic structures.
