The MDXSU Awards, is back for it's 5th year!
This is our way of celebrating the achievements of students at MDX over the past academic year.
There are eight awards up for grabs, recognising:

★ Best Societies
★ Biggest Impacts
★ Student of the Year.

★ WHERE: Central London
★ WHEN: Thursday 10th May 2018
Shortlisted students will be invited, where the winners will be announced, and all guests will be treated to an evening of fine dining, entertainment and celebration.
WHY SHOULD I NOMINATE A STUDENT?
This is your opportunity to show your appreciation for their work and commitment to improving your MDX experience. To recognise those students who commit to more than just their studies helps us continue the excellent work they've done.
Students and staff are invited to nominate current students in any of the following awards categories by Wednesday 18 April 2018:
★ Student Led Event of the Year
Have you attended an incredible, student-organised event this year? From guest lectures to trips, exhibitions to unforgettable parties, we want to hear about it!
★ Society of the Year
Are you a member of an amazing society who have helped you try new things or meet new people? Show your appreciation - nominate them here!
★ Best New Society
This award recognises the hard work of societies set up in the past year to reach new members and put on their first events! Click here to nominate.
★ Trailblazer Award (for Inclusion)
For some students, it can be hard to get fully involved in student life for various reasons - from personal commitments to under-representation. This award recognises work by students to represent and involve these groups. Nominate here.
★ Impact Award
From campaigning on behalf of students who face discrimination or oppression, to lobbying for change locally or nationally, click here to nominate someone passionate about change!
★ Student Voice Leader of the Year
Our Student Voice Leaders play a vital role in representing their coursemates and improving the experience of MDX students. Got someone in mind? Click here to tell us about them!
★ Outstanding Contribution to POW! Media
This award is to recognise a student who has made an outstanding contribution to your student radio, magazine or POW! TV. Nominate them online.
★ MDXSU Student of the Year
Have you met someone at Middlesex who has made a lasting impression? This special award will recognise an amazing person who has encouraged, empowered and inspired their peers. Place your nominations here.
There are also three internal awards for MDXSU staff and interns, with nominations for these placed by MDXSU staff.
Once nominations close at 11.59pm Wednesday 18 April, the submissions will be reviewed by a panel of elected Student Officers and relevant MDXSU staff. The shortlist will be announced at the end of April, with the winners announced at the awards ceremony on May 10th!
