Welcome to the Middlesex Islamic Society!

We aim to support and represent Muslim students on campus and also present Islam to the student and staff at the university as a whole way of life with the best Islamic etiquette.

PRAYER ROOM: We have prayer facilities and Wudu area for both brothers and sisters. In the Hendon campus the Brothers prayer room is located in the Male Muslim Prayer Room (Portakabin 8) and the Sisters room is the Female Muslim Prayer Room (Sports Pavilion - Next to Male Prayer Room). Both Prayer Rooms are open from 8am - 10pm everyday

JAMA'AH PRAYERS: Throughout the academic year we will have Jama'ah prayers (Obligatory Prayers in congregation) with a microphone set in order for sisters to hear.

JUMMAH SALAAT: We hold two Jummah prayers every Friday across the academic year which take place in the Barn Building (Behind Williams Building)

From April to the End of October (Summer Time) Jummah will be at 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm

From November to the End of March (Winter Time) Jummah will be at 12:30 pm and 1:00 pm

NOTE: This is due to the hour change that takes place several times a year
